The next event for Narrate Conferences will be the continuation of Sirens. Inspired by the daring adventures of women characters and compelled by the brilliant works of women authors, Sirens is a conference dedicated to women in fantasy literature. The conference, both scholarly examination and professional retreat, welcomes academics, authors, professionals, and readers to attend—and provide varying perspectives on fantasy books by women, female characters in fantasy works, the market for fantasy by and about women, and how to support women in fantasy literature. The theme for 2015 is “rebels and revolutionaries.” Please visit the event website for more information.

Narrate Conferences has several other events in development and we will include them in this section as soon as we have more information finalized. Possible future events planned by Narrate Conferences include a conference on young adult literature; a series on teen literature targeted specifically at teens, parents, educators and librarians; and a conference focusing on the cutting edge in multimedia studies and education.
